Your Role on the Team

At Hope and Health, we believe stories have the power to inspire change—and great design helps those stories come to life.

As our Creative Brand & Design Lead, you'll champion the visual identity of Hope and Health while helping shape the creative direction of our growing family of initiatives. You'll lead the design of everything from social media campaigns and event branding to apparel, jerseys, merchandise, and community storytelling.

Working alongside our leadership team, you'll collaborate with Indigenous artists, youth leaders, athletes, and our creative partner, Thii Hayqwtun House of Design, transforming Indigenous artwork into meaningful products and experiences that celebrate culture, spark conversation, and create lasting impact.

This role is ideal for someone who sees branding as more than graphics—it's about building connection, creating experiences, and inspiring communities.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and evolve the Hope and Health visual brand across all communications.

  • Develop creative concepts that strengthen our storytelling and community engagement.

  • Design social media campaigns, posters, presentations, reports, event materials, and digital marketing assets.

  • Create branded templates and visual systems that ensure consistency across the organization.

  • Collaborate respectfully with Indigenous artists to integrate artwork into apparel, merchandise, publications, and campaigns.

  • Lead the creative development of jerseys, teamwear, merchandise, promotional products, and branded collections.

  • Partner with Thii Hayqwtun House of Design to help bring apparel and fashion collections to life.

  • Prepare artwork for commercial production, including embroidery, screen printing, dye sublimation, DTF, DTG, and promotional products.

  • Support photography, videography, and motion graphics that elevate our storytelling.

  • Explore emerging technologies, including AI-assisted creative tools, to improve workflows and innovation.

  • Help mentor and inspire future creative contributors as the organization grows.

What You Bring

  • A strong portfolio showcasing branding, graphic design, and visual storytelling.

  • Advanced experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

  • Experience designing in Canva Pro and creating editable brand templates.

  • Excellent understanding of branding, typography, layout, colour, and user experience.

  • Experience designing for both print and digital platforms.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to balance multiple priorities while delivering high-quality creative work.

  • A collaborative leadership style with excellent communication skills.

  • Passion for Indigenous communities, youth leadership, sport, culture, and social impact.

  • A growth mindset with excitement for learning new tools and technologies.

Bonus If You Also Have

  • Experience designing athletic apparel, jerseys, or sports branding.

  • Fashion, merchandise, or product design experience.

  • Knowledge of commercial print production and apparel manufacturing.

  • Experience with:

    • Adobe After Effects

    • Figma

    • Adobe Express

    • Procreate

    • CorelDRAW

    • CLO 3D

    • Browzwear

    • CapCut

  • Photography or videography skills.

  • Illustration or digital drawing experience.

  • Experience collaborating with Indigenous artists or organizations.

  • Experience using AI-assisted creative tools in professional design workflows.

Our team is grounded in love, culture, and community—and we’re looking for an energetic, super-organized, and big-hearted person to join us behind the scenes to help keep the mission moving! 

We are looking for an Executive Coordinator to become the engine room of Hope and Health.

This is a dynamic, multi-dimensional role that sits at the intersection of:

  • Day-to-day leadership

  • Program delivery

You will ensure every program, event, and initiative has what it needs to run smoothly, powerfully, and in alignment with our standards.

What You’ll Do

Operations Leadership (Project Management + Execution)

  • Lead and manage multiple projects across programs, events, and partnerships

  • Build timelines, workflows, and systems that keep everything on track

  • Ensure seamless execution of all Hope and Health experiences

  • Identify gaps, solve problems proactively, and keep momentum high

  • Support leadership in decision-making with clear operational insight

  • Bring a project manager mindset: organized, strategic, and action-oriented

Admin & Coordination (The Backbone)

  • Own and maintain key systems, trackers, and documentation

  • Manage logistics across programs (travel, schedules, communications, materials)

  • Coordinate people, places, and moving pieces with precision

  • Create and manage spreadsheets (yes—you love a good Excel sheet 😄)

  • Keep everything organized, accessible, and running smoothly behind the scenes

Program & Team Support

  • Work closely with the Hope and Health dream team and community partners

  • Ensure all programs are equipped with what they need to succeed

  • Act as a central connector across initiatives and people

Equipment, Kit & Brand Experience

  • Oversee design, ordering, and distribution of:

    • Soccer balls

    • Jerseys

    • Apparel & swag

    • Program equipment

  • Ensure every participant and team member feels proud, prepared, and seen

  • Maintain inventory and supplier relationships

Innovation & Growth

  • Bring new ideas to improve systems, experiences, and efficiency

  • Help evolve how Hope and Health operates as it grows

  • Think creatively about how to elevate impact and delivery
