We are looking for an Operations & Admin Lead to become the engine room of Hope and Health.
This is a dynamic, multi-dimensional role that sits at the intersection of:
Day-to-day leadership
Program delivery
Community connection
Operational excellence
You will ensure every program, event, and initiative has what it needs to run smoothly, powerfully, and in alignment with our standards.

What You’ll Do
Operations Leadership (Project Management + Execution)
Lead and manage multiple projects across programs, events, and partnerships
Build timelines, workflows, and systems that keep everything on track
Ensure seamless execution of all Hope and Health experiences
Identify gaps, solve problems proactively, and keep momentum high
Support leadership in decision-making with clear operational insight
Bring a project manager mindset: organized, strategic, and action-oriented
Admin & Coordination (The Backbone)
Own and maintain key systems, trackers, and documentation
Manage logistics across programs (travel, schedules, communications, materials)
Coordinate people, places, and moving pieces with precision
Create and manage spreadsheets (yes—you love a good Excel sheet 😄)
Keep everything organized, accessible, and running smoothly behind the scenes
Program & Team Support
Work closely with the Hope and Health dream team and community partners
Ensure all programs are equipped with what they need to succeed
Act as a central connector across initiatives and people
Equipment, Kit & Brand Experience
Oversee design, ordering, and distribution of:
Soccer balls
Jerseys
Apparel & swag
Program equipment
Ensure every participant and team member feels proud, prepared, and seen
Maintain inventory and supplier relationships
Innovation & Growth
Bring new ideas to improve systems, experiences, and efficiency
Help evolve how Hope and Health operates as it grows
Think creatively about how to elevate impact and delivery
Who You Are

Vancouver Island Program Coordinator
Job Title: Vancouver Island Program Coordinator
Location: Central Vancouver Island, BC (Hybrid – remote with travel to community programs)
Position Type: Part-time (with potential to grow to full-time)
Start Date: As soon as we find the right fit!
Compensation: Based on experience
Your Role on the Team
As the Vancouver Island Program Coordinator, you'll be the connector, the organizer, and the energy behind our community-based sport and wellness programs. You’ll ensure our programs run smoothly, coaches feel supported, families are in the loop, and our gear gets where it needs to go. You’ll play a key role in nurturing strong relationships with families, caregivers, and community partners while making sure all the behind-the-scenes magic happens on time.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Plan, coordinate, and help deliver sport and wellness programming across multiple communities
Communicate with families and community partners about program schedules, logistics, and updates
Recruit, onboard, and schedule awesome coaches and volunteers
Manage registration, waivers, and all program-related documentation
Organize and distribute equipment and materials for each program site
Troubleshoot and problem-solve with grace when things don’t go as planned
Travel to program sites to support setup, delivery, and relationship-building
Be a positive, passionate ambassador for Hope and Health in every community you support
What You Bring:
Super strong organizational skills (you love lists and calendars!)
Great communicator and natural relationship builder
Experience working in or alongside Indigenous communities and youth programs
Familiarity with community programming, coaching, or youth sport
Tech-friendly (comfortable with MS Office and basic digital tools)
Able to manage multiple priorities and pivot as needed
Available to travel across Central Vancouver Island
Passion for creating safe, fun, and meaningful experiences for Indigenous youth
Bonus If You Also Have:
Coaching experience or sport background
Experience leading youth groups or facilitating activities
A love for community events, cultural connections, and working with purpose
